Instinct testing- expose them to livestock and see if they have the instinct: arena trials- in an arena, set up an obstacle course, open field. Sheep and cattle trials, or ducks and geese. They follow the lure on a trolly, simulate original hunting style. Others: weight pull, crating, water rescue, jump out of a boat, take a life preserver, ex: newfoundland.
