Biological sex -> gender -> sexuality: heteronormativity. A cultural bias in favor of heterosexuality. Firmly rests on the binary that is based on (cid:498)biological sex leads to gender, which leads to sexuality. Heterosexuality is the norm; taken for granted. Lgbtq movement for marriage equality received some backlash, because it had a very heteronormative goal.
