What is Science?
It is both, a body of knowledge and a process.
It is a way of discovering our universe, the various processes and how they
work.
What is Physics?
The Science branch that studies matter, energy, forces and motion.
**PHYSICS INCLUDES GEOLOGY, ASTRONOMY, CHEMISTRY, etc.**
Physics underlies all sciences. It underlies all NATURAL sciences. For example:
Electrical impulses generated by neurons to send messages through our body.
Maths is another language of science. They both are rather related in some
aspects.
Integration of Science and Maths:
oIt occurred some 4 centuries ago.
oIdeas of science and unambiguous when seen in math terms.
oEquations of science show relationship between concepts.
oEasier to make predictions.
Scientific Methods- Common Steps:
Recognize a question, puzzle, or unexpected fact.
Make a hypothesis (educated guess) to solve.
