Constructivism - individuals construct their own knowledge during the occur of interaction with the environment. Thinking is an active process whereby people organize their perceptions of the world. Scheme: patterns of behavior or thinking that children and adults use ind eating with objects in the world. Assimilation: incorporating new objects into the scheme scheme. Accommodation: modifying existing schemes to fit new situations.
