No set of principles that could capture every judgment we want and think is right in particular situations. We didn"t need moral principles to begin with. Moral generalism- there are moral principles that can codify the moral landscape. There are principles and if they don"t exist then there are no correct moral judgments. Shapelessness- counterexamples o level where explain more details of things. Moral level where say its cruel or wrong, and then scientific. A color is a property that things have and it"s what you see. But another levelis that instead of calling it cruel, then break down all the levels of different things that cause pain and pleasure to ppl involved. No moral principles that link natural scientific level to the moral level.
