God bends himself down to accept the hospitality, and makes himself laughable. Note: doctrine of trinity is doctrine where god is love, can bend down that far such that he can pray to someone other than himself (jesus prays to the father) It"s only if god is an eternal exchange of love (in the trinity), that he is free to love something outside of himself (his identity is not dependent on us). Icon invokes the communion of love that is among the three. The doctrine of the trinity cannot be known through natural reasoning.
