Document Summary

*** don"t go overboard in staing that evil is a force to be conquered and not problem to be solved. Evil cannot negate god"s good, though, once human beings fall, moral evil makes the struggle harder. Illustraion of original sin: the lie of the devil is that love isn"t real. Adam and eve accept the lie that all they see is god"s self interest, not his love. We should also focus on our own temptaion not to trust and listen to the lie that love isn"t real. In a fallen world, immortality will be used against the fallen mortal. The devil is the devil, do not demonize people. Even though people can be under the sway of the lie that there is no love. The doctrine of the incarnaion is the doctrine that disinguishes chrisianity from all other religions. The trinity is also a unique doctrine, but it comes from the doctrine of the incarnaion.
