Men: hunt and trap using poisoned arrows and spears, gather honesty from hives in trees, fish using plant-based, non-toxic chemicals that drive sh to the surface of the water. Women: engage in dam shing, gather wild fruits and nuts, practice beekeeping, build housing structures. A form of subsistence based on care of herds of domesticated animals. Characterized by symbiosis between humans and animals. Bene ts for animals: protection from predators and illness; help nding food; help reproducing.
