Discussion questions and report for (cid:862)the letters(cid:863) video. One of my callings was to serve the church and that"s what i do on. Teresa"s calling was helping the poorest of the poor. By providing food, and a loving place to die for those that were dying on the streets. She wanted to follow christ into the slums, and to live among the poor. This was a problem because others didn"t understand why she wanted to go out there, into live within the convent and be safe from the outside. Teresa was seeking exclaustration, meaning she will temporally be living outside of the convent. She asked for mother general to speak to father van exem and have him talk to the church to grant permission. Teresa is a cloistered nun, and i feel that this is extremely rare and doesn"t happen, almost ever. Her personal experience was being a teach and she taught students.
