You have chosen a great article to analyze. In your essay you had some strong points, but i believe that you could expand on some to make it stronger. I will discuss the positives and then the negatives. I really enjoyed how in depth you went on the subject. Personally, i do not know a lot about the syrian refugee crisis in detail. By reading your essay i felt that i had a better understanding of the situation and the severity of what governments are dealing with. In your rst paragraph your purpose (thesis) is well placed and gave me an idea as to what to look for while i was reading it. Also, you continually lead back to your thesis throughout the essay which really helps and helps give your essay strength. Your last three paragraphs are some of the best i read in your entire essay. They grasp the idea and properly analyze the actual text you chose.
