A huge part of elections is getting people to vote! (cid:523)most people don"t know. After the 2008 election, a group was asked how interested they were in the the candidates name) Like yard signs: just to get the candidates name out there. Fame matters, and someone is much more likely to vote for someone if they have heard their name before. All campaigns spend a lot of time repeating themselves (you cant assume that everyone will know what you"re talking about), the vast majority.
