It"s a script, not something that is set in stone. We need to change the narrative/script, so the duty is not always on women to prevent rape. Benefit of thinking about rape as a script. It"s not set, it can be changed and shifted. We can change these expectations in order to change the conditions. Race and class has a real impact on who gets prosecuted. It"s not that people necessarily support rape, but rape culture does not condemn it fully. How does state violence deal with violence on a more personal level.
