Science and research: the quality of the research methodology forms the basis for the strength of the knowledge claims. This is why it is essential to understand the strengths and limitations of the research method. Claims of science and knowledge: how do we determine whether something we know is accurate, personal experience. I"ll believe it when i see it. Is this a strong basis for knowledge: intuition. The use of intuition and anecdotal evidence to draw general conclusions about the world. Example: children raised in a household with a mother and a father have better mental health than children raised in any other family structure. What is an illusory correlation: authority.
