No clear trend - but you can say that there have been more cat4 and cat5 hurricanes in the past two decades than the previous seven. Frequency has been increasing over the past 50. Deuterium is twice as heavy as hydrogen (2 neutrons) D/h ratio of the earth (ocean water) = 150 ppm (parts per million) Not all of earth"s water has come from comets (some of it must have come from og building blocks of the planet - carbonaceous chondrites) Undifferentiated (interior of the rock has never been heated) 6% by weight = carbon 12% by weight = water. Counter argument to earth"s water being original to the earth (in the rocks) Hydrogen is volatile, should have been lost to space. Most of earth"s og water should have escaped to space.
