Should refrain from contact with others until no longer contagious. Poked in the eye with a foreign object. Patch the eye for 24 hours and apply antibiotic drops. Blood pooling in the anterior portion of the eye. Athlete will complain of an inability to see and pain. May see blood in eye, develops within 2 hours. Cover both eyes and refer to a physician.
