Cedar forest: forest guarded by humbaba, enkidu makes his door with cedar trees (symbol of civilization) Bull of heaven: constellation of stars, represents hot summers, droughts, and drying river. Cultural foundations i: sent by ishtar to kill gilgamesh and enkidu, his death symbolizes human conquering nature. Lapis lazuli: deep blue rock, symbol of royalty, honor, and god, bull of heaven was covered in this. Carnelian: brownish-red mineral that is commonly used as a semi-precious gemstone.
