Data structures are ways of holding and organizing data. An algorithm is a logical sequence of discrete steps that describes a complete solution to a given problem commutable in a finite amount of time and space. Algorithms must finish and be followed in a certain order. Phases of software development: specifications of task, design of a solution. Writing code becomes trivial eventually: implementation (coding) of the solution, testing and debugging. Graders design tests to try and break your code.
