Tools: panel is located on the far left on the workspace and it is accessible from. Layer style or blending options: are located by right clicking on the layer and choosing "blending options" Filters: can be accessed via the filters menu on the main menu. They process graphic information and apply filters or visual effects to bitmap images. Adjustments: can be accessed via the window option on the main menu. These lets us adjust color, brightness levels in general and per color channel to fix the way photographs look. Quickmask: can be accessed via the tools panel or by its shortcut, pressing "q" on the keyboard. It works in combination with the brush tool (b) and the foreground and background color. The black color masks the area where you apply the brush and the white color will remove the mask. Tip: you can switch between foreground and background by pressing "x" on the keyboard.
