Many say that some books can be grouped together, such as the first four, which are known as the telemachy for its reference to telemakhos. Odysseus" stories show how he has grown cautious when it comes to storming a place and killing the people. Odysseus begins his story at the coast of the kikones. Odysseus and his men immediately go in and kill all the men in one village. The men of the other village then appear and kill many of odysseus" men.
