Anthropologists: people who study the origins and development of people. Archeologists: those who study the material remains of people to understand culture. Sources: primary: directly from time period, secondary: sources written after the event has occurred, contain bias points of view. Had no structured government, social classes, job specialization, mush clothing, variety, trade, written language, surplus of food. Had art, knowledge of environment, recorded history, had animism/some type of relegion, lots of leisure time, stone toolds, egalitarionsim-men and women were relatively equal, a life span of 35 years, low population but steady growth. When people settiled down in an agricultural society more property was aquired and that began to make people become divided and unequal based on who had more. However agricultural societies were better because it created a more reliant surplus and way of getting food, after people stopped worrying about food more advancements were made, and in generall created a more progressive society.
