Document Summary

Personality is the combination of characteristics or qualities of a person, who makes up for which the person becomes. Personality does not seem to be very stable as i"m sure environment can change the personality of person. There is also split personality disorder where people will have more than one personality and this shows how unstable it is, especially because it becomes an identity crisis for the person who suffers from it. Everyone has different personalities, i think a lot depends on how and where you were raised. But there must be some kind of biological or genetic reason behind it as well. Personality: the underlying causes within the person of individual behavior and experience. Ex. a trait of extraversion; being the shy type; a fixation from childhood conflict (freudian)
