Meister eckhart- lived in the high middle ages, contemporary of dante. All mystics are pantheistic, and they were condemned. Pantheism, god is in everything god is in nature. The one, then beings, then under beings would be beings like us. The moment you put the one about god, you are seen as a heretic. In philosophy, you must think being, you cannot think non-being. Prayers in latin, but the people have no idea what they are saying. Rumi created not only poetry, but also dancing. A division between i and you should not exist, we should see a unity of all beings. Modernity suffers from excessive individualism, and mystics suffered from excessive communism. Troubadours are from occitan, which is part of current day france, but not part of france at the time. William the 9th is the first known troubadour. Troubadours are the first literary movement in the european tongue. Troubadours composed music as well as wrote poetry.
