Most modern diseases are or were zoonotic. Still cause havoc in less developed world and amongst the poorest inhabitants. Ticks, fleas, and other parasites also act as vectors ( spread disease) Black death spread by lea carried by rats. Direct contact with infected animals via bites or scratches. Eating or drinking contaminated animals products or water. Bodily fluids coming in contact with droplet of saliva or blood.
