Summary (100-150 words max): una seeks after redcrosse. When she is resting, she takes off her veil, and she encounters a lion then. Una meets corceca and abessa, lodging at their house. Kirkrapine shows up at night, who is then killed by the lion. Archimago seeks after una, appearing to her in redcrosse"s shield, so una takes him as redcrosse. Sansloy kidnaps una, defeating the lion in order to do so. New characters introduced: lion - first tries to attack una, but stops when it actually sees her. Una around and loyally protects her from danger. It dies while trying to protect her from sansloy. Lord of everie best in field (i. iii. 7. 1: abessa (ab-essa = without essence; or from abbess") - she can"t hear, speak, nor understand (i. iii. 11. 4), and una first sees her carrying a pot of water. Abessa runs away from una and the lion out of fear.
