Context collapse: when information created for a specific audience is shared with multiple audiences at the same time. When people refuse to let you tag each other in a photo on social media. Social interaction: the conversations that are central to human communication. Haptic communication- sending messages that use nonverbal cues associated with touch. The distance, the nonverbal you cant see, the lose of context, the inability to respond based on feedback put people at arms length. (cid:1) Media richness theory(mrt)- a theory that suggests that communication channels (e. g. texting, face2face, novels, news, reports, etc. ) can be understood in terms of the number of social cues they provide the user.
