Disorder of chronic pain that differs from person to person. Deep aches (ligaments, joints, muscles), pains, throbbing, burning, shooting sensation. Eventually, only minimal input is needed to induce pain. Pain-related negative affect shows low quality of life (negative view of life) because they feel like they cannot get relief no matter what they do. There are at least 2 fibro medicines that have been used for fibromyalgia. Somatoform pain disorders: conversion disorders sort of like phantom limb.
