Microtia: anotia, graded on the amount of severtity. A lot of times it is scar tissue. The scar tissue continues to grow until it closes the space of the ear canal. Taking steroids will help relive the inflammation: strongly affects hearing. Impacted wax: common cause of conductive hearing loss. Conductive hearing loss means there is something blocking the flow of hearing: if wax is badly impacted the individual should go to a doctor to have it removed, effects hearing quite a bit. Only loud sounds would be able to get through. Hearing: more wax than usual is probably due to stress or you are allergic to something you have been eating or drinking. Impacted foreign object: kids will often push little rocks in their ear, over time the object will calcify. If they wait too long to extract it, it will be much harder to take out.
