Spending more time with those one is familiar with (cid:498)superficial(cid:499) vs. emotionally driven social attachments: social engagement driven by emotional regulation, affiliation toward emotionally gratifying ties. Reduced interaction/affiliation to those who provide fewer emotional benefits.
