Why is it a problem with political correctness? it can sometimes distract from the real issue, make it bad to accidentally insult someone, but also protects those who it could offend. Monday, october 17, 2016: profanity and rudeness. Studies have shown the use of profanities have decreased among young adults adults. Rudeness in verbal communications has increased in all generations according to the same studies, it is different because there are many different ways to be rude.
