Whatever is good is anything that enables a flourishing human life. Being miserable as a result of social norms and what society understands about sexuality and sexual morality results in a diminished life. Having a better understanding of human anatomy, human sexuality, and how sex works/functions, everyone would have a greater appreciation of others preferences and beliefs. A more open society regarding sex led to a better society overall. (alfred kinsey famous sex researcher in the 1950s) When discussing sexuality being a moral concern, we must move away from thinking of specific sexual actions being right or wrong. The united states, as well as many other countries, have been really all over the place when it comes to same-sex marriages and lgbt rights.
