Validity- the test measures what its supposed to: sat scores and predictability in college. How valid is that score to predict whether or not i will be successful in college? : more of an argument/discussion. Alone they don"t predict success in college but putting it together with. Gpa it predicts success: iq tests do not predict success. Strengths and weaknesses of different types of test questions. Doesn"t take anything special pencil and scantron. It is likely to be the same score each time: no judgment involved. Nobody is getting an advantage or disadvantage. Measure a whole bunch of different things: weaknesses. Students are really good teachers that didn"t get a"s on multiple choice exams. Decisions are made about things when they are graded. Can take a lot more time to accomplish it. You can ask students more naturalistic types of questions: more application, weaknesses. Writing ability and spelling influence the score. Distracts from the content doesn"t get the message across.
