The object that i am choosing to evaluate is coconut oil. Coconut oil is traditionally classified as a cooking material and it is very commonly used in the paleolithic diet. I intend to evaluate coconut oil as different types of beauty products. Some of these uses include stay-in hair conditioner, cuticle oil, makeup remover, moisturizer, shaving cream, breath freshener, and lip balm. Coconut oil can also be used as an active ingredient in a variety of other diy cosmetics including lice remedies, makeup brush cleaner, body scrub, whitening toothpaste, and deodorant. My rhetorical opportunity/exigence is to advocate for the many cosmetic benefits the oil brings to the table. My main audience for this evaluation is cosmetically savvy women because of the fact that more of these uses typically apply to them, however another potential audience is men. Cosmetic needs are relatable to anybody who is concerned about their appearance and hygiene.
