It is sometimes expressed as i dentifying a pain because pain denotes a real problem that people will pay to solve. The entrepreneur understands who has the problem , which is their t arget customer or target market. Their understanding is detailed and intimate as they must know their customer. The entrepreneur understands the alternative solutions ; what competitors provide to solve the problem. They understand how their solution compares to others and if they offer anything unique. What entrepreneurs offer that makes their solution unique is called the value. If you do not have a distinct value proposition that you can clearly articulate you probably will not be successful.
