Contemporary college students more likely to have a casual partner/friend as sexual partner. Majority of college students have also ben in a long-term relationship. Majority of sex during college occurs in romantic relationships. College students think their peers are hooking up more than they are. People who have sex early feel worse about their first time. Not liking the person was top reason for feeling guilt for both boys/girls. Girls cite physical pain, boys cite not feeling satisfied as top physical complaints. Satisfaction w/ first intercourse predicts satisfaction w/ later sexual encounters. Guilt with respect to first intercourse predicts lower sexual satisfaction, comfort w/ sexuality years later. Condom use during first intercourse predicts subsequent condom use. Abrupt transition from awkward sexual advice to concluding remarks.
