Aseptic techniques- techniques that prevent contamination by unwanted microorganisms (preventing anything unwanted into your experiment) (soaking gauze in antiseptic to prevent germs from getting into a wound) Anthrax koch worked with that in the lab alongside cattle: isolated cows w/ anthrax, grew anthrax in pure culture, took the organism and put it into healthy cattle, drew blood and proved it matched the original organism. Eitiology of anthrax is bacillus antracis (cause of anthrax) Normal flora- bacteria that belongs on or inside your body.
