Psych 422 human sexuality: male external genitalia, the penis and the scrotum, developmentally equivalent to (or homologous with) the clitoris. Functionality, penis corresponds to the clitoris, urethra, and vagina all are rolled into one! Penis has 3 visible portions: shaft, head, (gland), foreskin. Testicles are part of the internal *male reproductive: male circumcision. Surgical removal of the foreskin of the penis. Bulbourethral gland: pre-cum: urethral meatus (circle, how big should penis be, doesn"t work, the scrotum and its contents. F below body temperature: sperm cells are produced via meiosis. Site of where sperm is produced (rete testis: the testes, developmental sequence from stem cell into finished sperm takes 64 days, huge #"s of sperm are developing simultaneously, clarke, fall 2016. Average man produces ~150 million sperm per day!! Slow growing cancer: only ~400 actually die of the disease, most commonly strikes men in 20"s and 30"s, regular self-exams are recommended, male sexual health: disorders of the prostate gland, prostatitis.
