Matthew CurtisSRA 2312 March 2014Red Hat Robber PaperWhen looking at the Red Hat Robber Case the analytic question to think about is Who committed the robberies and is known as the Red Hat Robbers The Red Hat Robber is Mr Big Red Redd Originally police and eyewitnesses had a general agreement that all the State College Area Bank Robberies were committed by at least TWO Robbers in white ski masks leaving the scenes of each crime in a dirty white van that appeared to some as a colored van After a reliable eyewitness tip police were able to locate a stolen white van registered to Acme Plumbing Co in the name of Mr Big Red Redd Police located and questioned Mr Redd who claimed his van was stolen when he went on his lunch break Only reason he was able to get to his hunting trip was because he hitchedhiked the rest of the way Police were able to confirm this story but plenty of questions remain All the evidence indicated that the main robber in all the bank heists wore hunting clothes ski masks white and red has red hair seems nervous and used the van that belongs to Acme Plumbing Co B
