Captain of ship was given preferential treatment (not qualified) After ship crashes they construct a raft, but there"s too many people so the raft was abandoned. Raft is out in the open for 13 days. Studied for the painting with decapitated heads and limbs and shit. Naked bodies: convention for nude body being something you can empathize with.
