Eat blood levels occur within 15-120 mins. Metabolized in liver: slowed by alcohol, slowed during pregnancy. Increased by broccoli: two times increased in smokers, nicotine decreases half-life by up to 50% Not metabolized by infants (until ~8 months) Half-life = ~4 hours: has active metabolites, xanthines.
