Chromatic scale: consists of all natural notes, sharp notes, and flat notes within a scale. Interval = distance between pitches, intervals are named from major/minor and has either unison, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and octave following it. example major second can be from c to d (do to re) For this course you will need to be able to identify all intervals when the professor plays them on the piano for both quizzes and exams there is a interval identification part.
