Jurists- those skilled in law, including judges, lawyers, and legal scholars. At a minimum, law consists of enforceable rules governing relationships among individuals and between individuals and their society. Enforceable rules can be unwritten principles of behavior established by nomadic tribe, or ancient or contemporary law code, or written laws and court decisions by modern legislative and judicial bodies in us. All have in common that they establish rights, duties, and privileges that are consistent with the values and beliefs of their society or its ruling group. Jurispudence, involves learning about different schools of legal thought and discovering how each schools approach to law can affect judicial decision making- the science or philosophy of law. Natural law belief that government and the legal system should reflect universal moral and ethical principles that are inherent in human nature. The natural law school is the oldest and one of the most significant schools.
