In the world, there are many racial categories that individuals belong to. People have distinguishable appearances and they know whether they are asian, americans, Despite distinguishable physical appearances, individuals are all genetically mixed. In the long history of the world, when conquerors have taken over another country and mixed with the native population, their offspring is a mix of the two races. Today, as the world becomes more globalized, the rate of intermarriage increases rapidly. Intermarriage allows children to have many ethnicities in one identity. Olson"s the end of race: hawaii and the mixing of peoples illustrates that intermarriage is higher in hawaiian society than other states in the united states. The small, insulated nature of hawaii makes it easier for its inhabitants to get along together. Kwame anthony appiah"s making conversation, and the primacy of practice illustrates that the cosmopolitism is important, as all individuals are citizens of the world. Appiah"s cosmopolitism wants all different individuals to become together.
