Coalition: a diverse group of individuals and organizations that work together to achieve a common goal. In our simulation, two or more stakeholder groups who join forces to pursue a set of agreed upon goals- in this case, convincing the senate to pass or reject a w-visa bill- while also remaining independent organizations. Coalitions come in variety of forms including permanent or temporary, single or multi-issue. A well-organized, broad based coalition will be more successful in achieving their goals.
