Emotional support from family and peers is important. By late adolescence, peer support is more important. More aware about what is going on around them. More happiness and more naive before innocence and childhood are lost. Loss of innocence makes it sound like they had something stolen from them, when in fact they eagerly sought after this loss of innocence . Children want to lose innocence and become more independent. Want to separate and mature, but don"t realize what they are losing.
