Group 1 - practically no recognition of the afterlife, people don"t believe in the afterlife, not concerned, people believe everything else. Group 2 - belief in the afterlife, but their belief is that people who die continue to live in this world but without their bodies, they are known as ancestor spirits. Ancestor spirits continue to have relationships with the living - the living can communicate with them, can make them offerings. Ancestor spirits can influence things happening in the world - help or harm people. Group 1 is generally composed of hunters and gatherers - do not believe in the afterlife.
