Family households have changed quite significantly since my grandparents" generation. The four recommended points for the interviews proved to reveal four massive changes from my grandparents generation, into my parents", and finally into mine. The point that proved to have the most drastic change was definitely the family size and structure. The number of people living in a single household seems to have changed drastically. This is due in part to the number of children people would have two generations ago. The size of the family and household also proved to have many effects on the family. Everything i learned from my interviews related back to the things we have been learning all year from nolan and lenski. There are many things that we can learn from an interview like this. As i began my interviews of my parents and each of their mothers, i quickly realized just how much smaller families are today.
