Propositional - language, like representation, when you create a mental image, you are dealing with images in a symbolic way (language) Represented in your brain by some sort of code. If perception and imagery tasks interfere, then they must require the same mental system. When you have a mental image, and you create a mental image, you are using your perceptual system to activate your mental image. Capacity limitation, if we focus on one of the perceptual systems, we can"t use another perceptual system.
