Bribery- offer or give someone something of value to influence their judgement/ conduct in a position of trust. Extortion- making of threats for purpose of obtaining money/ property. Fraud- individual misrepresents themselves to take advantage of another person. Embezzlement- taking money from a business for personal use, already have the property, but make it your own. Insanity- really hard to prove because juries don"t understand medical terms, battle of experts. Duress- needs to be immediate- not under duress if someone says they"ll come back to hurt you. Necessity- harm is less than harm you"ll create (if you see someone about to burn down a building, and you break in to prevent it. Justifiable use of force- use self defence to protect yourself- reasonable defense only, can"t murder someone over property.
