Boyfriend was a huge penguins fan, been to games in pittsburgh, but this was the final. Long lines for parking, but staff sped up the process, clean venue, no trash, Friendly staff, had real conversations with people, everyone enjoyed themselves, decided they"d go back for more games. Crowd management is proactive- measure to prevent incidents from happening. Crowd control is retroactive- mitigating potential damage once an incident happens. Compression wave- if you"re in a huge crowd, you move with it. Crush- moving toward something perceived of value. Duty of care- managers should provide you with a safe environment when coming to an event. Couple tailgating, drunk man falls on the wife"s leg and breaks her leg while walking back to the car after the game.
