Document Summary

It is necessary to note that martin luther was a famous theologian of the 15th-16th centuries. He was born in saxony, which is a territory of modern germany. His parents did not belong to the class of aristocracy. Nevertheless, martin"s father succeeded to become a well-to-do merchant in the sphere of mining. As a result, martin had an opportunity to get a good education. His primary aim was to become a lawyer. Nevertheless, the existential experience changed his destiny and he became a monk. Evidently, martin luther was an extremely inquisitive person. He wanted to receive genuine knowledge about the world and the phenomenon of faith. The reality was very different from his dreams. The catholic church had a colossal power in those days. However, monks used their authority to sell indulgences and collect fees for different needs. Martin luther had an open mind, good education, and honesty of a person who considered the faith to be his true vocation.
